BB-boying or breaking, also called breakdancing, is a style of street dance that originated among Black and Puerto Rican youths in New York City during the early 1970s.Dance Crews such as “N.Y.C Breakers and Rock Steady Crew” had the inner city kids laying down cardboard to express their talents. While diverse in the amount of variation available in the dance, b-boying consists of four kinds of movement: toprock, footwork, power moves, and freezes. The Dance is most desired over a “Break Beat”…Which the term “Breakdancing” evolved. The King of Break Beats will be non other than the great James Brown which the hip hop culture utilized in many ways . Breaking has spread internationally over the years giving the culture growth. It is a pleasure to display this in video with local dancers “Full Potentialz” who put on a great show for you all. Special Thanks.
