Say hello to bright bold colors with a vintage 1950’s twist. This season is full of asymmetrical shapes, colorful prints and classic pieces that will last you a lifetime. I felt Banana really captured the perfect combination of florals and white linen to make you wish you were island bound.
Friday before the event, I had the pleasure of being styled by Majory Brifil. She has been with the company for a while now and is an amazing stylist.
I chose three dresses that each had their own unique style, but I felt described each theme of their new collection. First, “Simply” the beautiful Layered Laser Cut Midi Dress paired with hot pink sandals and a dainty silver necklace for an overall angelic look. The ruffled skirt with airy sleeves add stunning detail to this dress. Next, “Sophisticated” the gorgeous Stripe Bow-Neck Dress. It is tailored to fit with an A-line skirt. The large bow detail adds a sophisticated edge while still giving a feminine touch. Plus, it has pockets! Ladies, I know you love a good pocket just as much as I do. I paired this dress with polka dot wedge sandals for an extra wow-factor.
Finally, “Summer” The dress is gorgeous and flattering for any figure! The one shoulder detail and asymmetrical hem line make for a perfect Summer look! I highly recommend all three of these looks. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
I loved working and styling with the other influencers at the event. They are all so fashionable and truly embraced the Banana Republic look. Power couple, Derrick Jacobs and Jacinda Jacobs, aka Fly Ty and Just Jacinda complimented each other perfectly. Ty was styled in salmon colored shorts with a blazer. He added a touch of class to this look. The mens shorts are perfect for summer. You can dress them up for a nicer night out or style them more casually. Jacinda was styled in high waisted striped pants with bow detail that tied in the front. She paired it with a white v-neck tee and gorgeous heels! Fashion Connoisseur, Ryan Jor El, was styled in a red gingham dress shirt paired with a classic grey pant and blue sweater to compliment the entire look. We had such a great time modeling the clothes and styling customers with some of our favorite picks. It was such a pleasure working with and getting to know these guys! Not only are they fashion influencers but influencers in our community as well.
What I love about Banana Republic is the variety of timeless pieces. You can find the perfect fitted suit to your next vacation ready dress. Each piece is truly unique and of high quality.
