On April Fool’s Day , we spent the day Uptown Charlotte at the first annual Charlotte Fashion Truck Rally. In the center city in an open lot on 7th street, city goers were able to browse and shop over 13 mobile boutiques. Small business mobile boutique owners from all over North Carolina came to Charlotte  to showcase their well designed vehicles. You would never imagine how much creativity goes into developing mobile masterpieces. These ladies really are passionate, not only about the products they sell but also how its presented.

Owner of Urbean Mobile boutique Andrea has a very eclectic source of products. She stocks a more accessory based inventory. Urbean sells candles made by Burmese refugees, and leathers made in Ethiopia. Andrea’s mission is to carry unique products you cant find at the mall.

M2 Boutique Truck has been in business for 3 years. Owner Carissa carries chic designs and accessories. M2 stocks brands such as Sugar Lips and CQ. We loved the inventory here. Carissa has a contemporary style and is currently opening a store front in Concord.

The Rolling Shack was amazing ! Owner Marisa Sellman also owns The Market Place in Cornelius NC. The Market Place is a Christian Fair Trade Store that partners with ministries around.The Rolling Shack delivers local fabrics with a western feel. Marisa carries handmade accessories, art work made in Huntersville, Ethnic clothing designs, metal works from Haiti, and our favorite item was a Blue tote made of cowhide.

Mirror Mirror is fascinating. Owner Sheila designed a beautiful bright green mobile boutique. She has mirrored cut displays and great lighting to showcase her hand bags and jewelry. Mirror Mirror carries men and women items.

Curvaceous Closet has been running for 3yrs. She’s very active in Charlotte hosting private home parties,girls night In, corporate events, and even sorority parties. Owner Carline carries designers from LA and loves to supply a west coast style. She sells brands such as Nymph and Embrace. These brands come  with large varieties of vibrant and bright colors.

Tonyan Grace is a beautiful Mobile boutique and owner Tonyan shares the same live spirit. Tonyan provides female clothing, accessories, jewelry and lingerie.  Tonyan is a breast cancer survivor. This Fashion Truck sells clothing from LA, Dallas, and Miami. She carries unique pieces you wont find again.

The Sole Addiction is the perfect mobile shoetique. Owner Kim has been running for 2 yrs and has recently won the National Small Business Championship Award for NC. Kim does charity events as well. The sole addiction sells all of your shoe desires and accessories including the cool emoji purses thats sure to be best sellers.

The Pink Boutique is based out of Lake Norman. Owner Kelly Janow carries brands such as Cea Femme, Lily and Emerald. Kelly has been running for about 2 1/2 yrs now.The Pink Boutique stocks women’s clothing and accessories and her best seller has been her wide stock of unique leggings. She also does great with her Trucker hats with catchy quotes.

Dress Like A Girl Mobile Boutique is a great addition. Owner Tameka Marsh sells African print purses and duffle bags as well as female clothing. She has a great display of cultural print clothing and ethnic styles. Tameka’s sale pitch stands as cute, comfy, and casual.

Southern Native Brand shared their special grand opening day with this event. They are based out of Denver NC. They also design their own brand. They provide the southern charm and they have perfectly fit it into this “Native Brand”. They have cool t shirts with great fits which they complete with the most popular southern slogans.
